OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2012. "Krasny Kotelschik" (the main production activity of JSC “EMAlliance” the affiliate of the power machine building group "Power Machine") manufactured the next lot of the equipment for Ekibastuzskaya SDPP-1 (Kazakhstan).

The assembly units of the secondary radiant section front and rear walls with headers and shields of the boiler P-57-3 M were shipped to the Customer. Earlier the assembly units of the convection superheater with headers, secondary radiant section fastening and boiler mountings were delivered to the station.

The Contract for manufacturing and delivery of the equipment to Ekibastuzskaya SDPP-1 was concluded between JSC “EMalliance” and JSC “ZiO” in February 2011. In accordance with the Agreement “EMAlliance” undertook to perform the project and deliver boiler spare parts for reconstruction of Ekibastuzskaya SDPP second power unit. The new equipment will replace the worked out parts of the boiler unit.

Pursuant to the Agreement signed in April 2011 JSC “Power Machines” has already supplied two power-operated turbines with the capacity 11 MW each manufactured by JSC “Kaluzhskiy Turbine Plant”. The turbine-type generator TVV-500-2UZ with the capacity 500 MW for the same power unit is being manufactured at the moment.

Besides the deliveries of the new equipment “Power machines” in the period since 2006 to 2011 renovated and supplied six low pressure rotors (LPR) of steam turbines K-500-240 with the capacity 500 MW forming a part of power units of the plant. At the present time the power machine building company executes the repair of the seventh LPR and manufacturing the new high pressure rotor.

The implementation of the project on furnishing new equipment to Ekibastuzskaya SDPP-1 will allow to reduce the risk of power shortages in the region and satisfy the growing demand for electrical energy in Kazakhstan.
