OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2012. Uzbekistan will buy 70,000 tonnes of paving bitumen in 2012 for construction and reconstruction of automobile roads, which are part of Uzbek National Highway.

The resolution of the Government said that Uzbekistan has additional demand for 70,000 tonnes of paving bitumen as addition to the volume of bitumen, produced in Uzbekistan, for construction and reconstruction of automobile roads, which are part of Uzbek National Highway.

The Government of Uzbekistan allowed Uzbekneftegaz to import 70,000 tonnes of paving bitumen and sign contract with Aria Petrolium K/S (Denmark) for supply of paving bitumen without holding a tender.

Cabinet of Ministers also provided Uzbekneftegaz right to delay customs payments for imported bitumen till 1 June 2013.
