OREANDA-NEWS.  June 28, 2012. The Republican Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced a tender on reconstruction of highway Guzar-Chim-Kukdala.

In line with tender terms, the winner should reconstruct 53 km area of highway from two-lane roads to four lane roads, as well as construct two bridges and one interchange in Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan. The construction works should be conducted within 18 months.

According to tender announcement, the tender proposals accepted till 16 July 2012.

The project will be financed due to loans of Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) for US million and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) for US.4 million, as well as resources of the Government of Uzbekistan.
