OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2012. OJSC KAMAZ takes part in the 2nd International Forum Engineering Technologies 2012 (Forum ET 2012), Russia’s largest exhibition event this year, which has opened at TEC Russia (Zhukovsky, Moscow Oblast).

This year, KAMAZ will present 10 models of vehicles. Some of them will be presented to the audience in operation. Among such exhibits are the KAMAZ-43501 high-sided vehicle for airborne troops, a "flying" KAMAZ which lands with the help of parachute platforms, the KAMAZ-6350, KAMAZ-65224 high-sided vehicles, and the KAMAZ-43269 “Vystrel” armored vehicle. A prototype of the KAMAZ-63968 "Typhoon” army vehicle will be shown at the exhibition for the first time. The guests of the forum will see the racing truck of the KAMAZ-master team – KAMAZ-4911 EXTREME, the KAMAZ-63501 artillery tractor with an armored cab and a crew module, the KAMAZ-6560, KAMAZ-65224 chassis, and the MM-501 protected multifunctional module.

The Forum is organized to demonstrate the paramount importance of engineering for implementation of national economic priorities set by the President and the Government of the Russian Federation. Particular attention will be paid to the development of the defense-industrial sector. Forum ET 2012 will be attended by Russia’s upper echelon, the heads of federal agencies, representatives of the leading scientific and industrial enterprises and institutions of Russia and foreign countries.
