Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy Elected Chairman
OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2012. The Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy (ICAP) held its 36th session in Baku (Azerbaijan), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
The Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Igor Artemyev was unanimously elected the ICAP Chairman.
The Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Rights’ Protection, at the Ministry of the Azerbaijan Republic for Economic Development, Zakhd Isaev and the Chairman of Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee, Vasily Tsushko are elected the two ICAP Co-Chairmen.
In 2011, at the 35th anniversary ICAP session (on 11-12 October 2012, Alma-Aty, the Republic of Kazakhstan) Mazhit Yesenbayev, the Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Competition Protection, was elected ICAP Chairman, and Igor Artemyev and the Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Rights’ Protection, at the Ministry of the Azerbaijan Republic for Economic Development, Zakhd Isaev, were elected the two Co-Chairmen of the Council.
Since Mazhit Yesenbayev was appointed the Chairman of the Customs Control Committee, of the Ministry of Finances of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he is unable to continue ICAP Chairmanship, and reelections took place.
