OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2012. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against Lipetsk Regional Authority and the Health Care Department of the Lipetsk Region upon signs of violating the antimonopoly law, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia. 

FAS suspects that the regional authorities violated Clauses 2 and 3 Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” by creating conditions for unlawful entry control of medicines brought in the region.

Also, as a result of actions undertaken by Lipetsk Regional Authority and the Health Care Department of the Lipetsk Region, an economic entity was assigned the functions and rights of a state control-and-supervision body, which was in breach of Part 3 Article 15 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.
