OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2012. A FAS delegation took part in meetings of the Competition Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and its working groups. Deputy Head of FAS Russia Andrey Tsyganov, held negotiations with representatives of the Finnish Competition Authority, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia. 

The parties exchanged opinions about the statement and prospects of developing bilateral cooperation in competition policy and enforcement.

To enhance 2012-2013 Cooperation Program between FAS and Finnish Competition Authority, signed in October 2011, and arrangements reached between the Heads of the Russian and Finnish competition authorities in October 2011, participants discussed a number of issues related to a joint workshop to be held in autumn 2012 in St. Petersburg, the purpose of which would harmonize the principles of competition policy and enforcement practice in the two countries and exchanging opinions on the most key problems of development of competition.
