OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2012. The 3rd professional beverage degustation competition BEST DRINK 2012 took place in Kyiv on May 23, 2012. The [b]Kiev Sparkling Wine Factory "Stolichniy" took part in the degustation and was placed first with its liquors Canari and Chocotella[/b].

The international degustation project "BEST DRINK" was founded to determine and promote the best products in the beverage industry and to fill the Ukrainian consumers market with production of the best quality.

36 companies has taken part in this competition this year and presented 96 their products. The Kiev Sparkling Wine Factory "Stolichniy" represented products of VINPOL Sp. z o.o. company that is situated in Poland. Canari and Chocotella liquors have deservedly took the premier places and got their awards.

The best drinks were determined by a commission of experts by results of a degustation where organoleptic properties of drinks were tested that took place behind closed doors.

The commission of experts consisted of leading professional degustators with huge working experience, representatives of Derzhspozhivstandard (State Committee for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy) and Ministry of Health of Ukraine, technologists of various enterprises, sommeliers and independent supervisors and representatives of mass-media.
