OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2012. Belarus is interested in establishing a transnational corporation with Vietnam and Laos to produce potash fertilizer together. Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich made a statement to this effect as he met up with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Dang Huy Tran.

Belarus is also ready to build a plant in Vietnam to produce phosphorous fertilizer, Myasnikovich said.

The Belarusian premier accentuated the importance of implementing joint projects with Vietnam. The premier referred to a MAZ assembly project in Vietnam, which ran up against some difficulties.

In turn, Ambassador Dang Huy Tran declared that Belarus and Vietnam may launch a direct flight between the two countries step up mutual cooperation and open the opportunities for partnership in the tourism sector.
