Dmitry Gorshkov Appointed Senior Vice-President of NOMOS-BANK
OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2012. Dmitry Gorshkov has been appointed Senior Vice-President of NOMOS-BANK. Priorities for Mr Gorshkov in his new post will include relationship development with large corporate customers that are of strategic importance to the Bank, reported the press-centre of NOMOS-BANK.
Corporate business has always been crucial to NOMOS-BANK Group. The Bank’s corporate loan portfolio had risen to RUB 327.9 billion by the end of the first quarter of 2012, when the number of corporate customers stood at 11,700. The Bank’s business customers include medium-sized firms with turnover between RUB 300 million and RUB 10 billion, as well as large companies with national presence and turnover in excess of RUB 10 billion.
Dmitry Gorshkov was born in 1970 in Moscow. He graduated in 1992 with distinction from the State Financial Academy, where he specialized in International Economic Relations. He is fluent in English and French.
Mr Gorshkov began his career in 1992 at the International Finance Company. He worked from 1993 as Deputy Head of the Representative Office of Inkombank in Switzerland, where he was responsible for relationship development with businesses and international banking institutions in Switzerland and other European countries, and for promotion of Inkombank services on the international market. Mr Gorshkov helped to set up the financial company Inkomfinanze AG in Zurich.
From 1996 until 1998 Mr Gorshkov was in charge of coordination and development of the foreign banking subsidiaries of ONEXIM Bank.
In 1998-1999 he headed the Customer Relationships and Marketing Department of UNEXIM (SUISSE) SA.
In 1999 Mr Gorshkov moved to Rosbank, where be successively held the posts of Vice-President, Senior Vice-President and First Vice-President. His responsibilities included development of the bank’s business with customers in a variety of sectors (oil and gas production, oil refining, chemicals, metallurgy, machine-building, forestry and wood processing, food, transport and agriculture).
From 2008 until 2011 Mr Gorshkov was a member of the Board of Directors of Rosbank (Switzerland) SA, where he represented the corporate division during preparations for the sale of Rosbank to Societe Generale Group.
