OREANDA-NEWS.  June 22, 2012. The annual shareholders’ meeting and GM-AVTOVAZ JV Board of Directors meeting took place in Togliatti.  Shareholders discussed production and business performance of the JV in 2011, and made decisions upon future development, reported the press-centre of GM-AVTOVAZ.  

Some changes have taken place in GM-AVTOVAZ Board membership. GMIO New Business Development and Strategic Alliances Vice President Julian Blissett joined the Board on the part of GM, and EBRD Senior Banker Artyom Sitnikov, on the part of EBRD. Accordingly, the new membership of the Board of Directors now includes the following persons:

On the part of JSC “AVTOVAZ”:

Igor Komarov, JSC "AVTOVAZ" President

Oleg Lobanov , Executive Finance and Corporate Development,

Yulia Stepnova, Corporate Management Director

On the part of General Motors:

James Bovenzi, GM Russia and CIS President and Managing Director

John Buttermore, GMIO Manufacturing Vice President

Julian Blissett,  GMIO New Business Development and Strategic Alliances Vice President

On the part of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development:

Artyom Sitnikov, Senior Banker

The Board members extended thanks to GMIO Planning Vice President Lowell Paddock, and the Head of EBRD Office in Volga Federal District Michael Hoffmann for their performance as Board members and contribution into GM-AVTOVAZ JV development.
