OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2012. Nordea Bank starts issuing virtual bank cards: MasterCard Virtual and Visa Virtual, reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.    

Virtual bank cards of Nordea Bank will allow separating transactions through the Internet and transactions with the use of standard bank cards (for example, cash withdrawal at ATMs and cash points).

Nordea Bank’s virtual bank cards can be used all over the world in sales and service points accepting bank cards of Visa and MasterCard Worldwide international payment systems through the Internet. Besides, it is possible to effect transactions through virtual bank card accounts of Nordea Bank in the “Nordea online” system.

Nordea Bank issues virtual bank cards to individual card accounts, the balance on which the client will manage by himself. Card account shall be topped up as required.

Virtual bank cards can be issued by any unit of Nordea Bank in the form of information card of specific design.
