OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2012. Moscow Arbitrazh Court awarded an interim injunction prohibiting Apatit to cut or/and suspend apatite concentrate supplies to Acron pending the adjudgment on merits. On June 6, 2012, Acron submitted to the Arbitrazh Court its claim against Apatit seeking to declare that under the existing apatite concentrate supply contract the price in 2012 shall be RUB 3,671.36 per tonne.

In its award dated June 15, 2012, Moscow Arbitrazh Court noted that the interim injunction will allow preventing a material damage to Acron and third parties during the proceedings, without disrupting the balance of interests of the parties.

For reference, Acron has suspended complex fertiliser production and supplies to its customers, due to which it suffers material damage, reputation injury, exposure to social risks and has to reduce tax contributions to the budget of the Novgorod region.
