OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2012. The growth of the construction industry for 5 months this year is 100.7%. This activity of the industry indicates optimistic market expectations. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this at a session.

"Indeed, on the result of five months worked not so much the money directed for cheap credits for the purchase of affordable housing and mortgage, but worked confidence of investors and builders that the Government conducts a long-term consistent, predictable policy of encouraging the housing in the country. Policy of simplification rules of Urban Development and encouraging the investments in the construction industry" - Mykola Azarov stressed. He noted that this confidence should be supported by all available means.

"I emphasize that you can not relax. Construction - inertia and sensitive to the error field. So we shouldn’t do mistakes" - the PM said.

According to him the growth of this industry after so many months of stagnation is extremely important because the construction industry generating growth in related industries and growth of the economy and besides - it is an essential factor for sustainable growth of the domestic market. "Finally, the activity of the industry reflects the optimistic market expectations" - Mykola Azarov said.

Mykola Azarov noted that the Government creates a system to stimulate construction. It has been directed 1 billion UAH to cheap credits, which should provide about 2 million square meters of housing built in the current year. The work of mortgage institutions, youth loan also add commissioned housing. Cabinet also supports initiatives to build housing service for young professionals.

"The Government could reverse the negative trend. Our task, first of all, that this trend is growing stronger, and secondly, that additional budget funds that creates business, were directed primarily at the state social policy" - the PM stressed.
