OREANDA-NEWS.  June 21, 2012. The Board of Directors of the insurance company Allianz has appointed Ms. Olga Doan as new President of Allianz ROSNO Life, reported the press-centre of Allianz ROSNO.

"My objective is to continue the successful development of Allianz ROSNO Life. The Russian life insurance market has a huge potential, and, together with our team of bright professionals, we will implement this potential, adding this to the list of our company’s achievements", commented on her appointment Ms. Olga Doan.

Mr. Bruce Bowers, regional director of CEEMA, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Allianz ROSNO Life, says: "I am pleased to welcome Olga at her new position in the Russian team. She is a competent manager with a solid reputation in the insurance community, and it is these two qualities which are most needed to conquer any market".

Career record
Ms. Olga Doan has worked in the insurance industry since 1989. She graduated from the Warsaw University, majoring in theoretical mathematics. She started her career as an actuary in the insurance and reinsurance company Warta (Poland). Later she led the Actuarial Calculations Department, and since 1995 she was a member of the Board of the life insurance company Warta Vita Life Insurance Company (Poland). In 1996, Olga became Deputy Chairman of the Board of the life insurance company Gerling Life Insurance Company (Poland). Since 1998, Ms. Olga Doan has worked in the Allianz Group, starting as the Chairman of the Board of PTE Allianz Polska (pension fund, Poland), and in 2000 becoming Deputy Chairman of the Board of Allianz Life and Allianz Non-Life (Poland). For over 6 years, Olga has held the position of CEO of Allianz Direct New Europe (direct insurance company in Eastern Europe).
