Air Moldova Joined BSP Ukraine
OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2012. National carrier “Air Moldova” airline from 24.05.2012 joined BSP* Ukraine (Billing and Settlement Plan), reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.
“Air Moldova” participation in BSP Ukraine will open new possibilities for 591 IATA accredited agencies from this country to sell special SPA fares from “Air Moldova” for flights from Ukraine to Chisinau.
“Air Moldova” entrance into BSP Ukraine is a part of the company's strategy to expand sales channels not only on markets from its route network, but on off-line markets as well.
In present, "Air Moldova" is a member of BSPs of 21 countries – Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Austria, Russia, Cyprus, Israel, Czechia, Slovakia, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Ukraine. In 2009 "Air Moldova" joined ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation), this allows all "Air Moldova" customers to purchase tickets for "Air Moldova" direct and connecting flights all over the territory of USA, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa.
Air Moldova airline flies direct to 22 destinations - Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Antalya, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Venice, Bologna, Dublin, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Sochi, Surgut and Kiev, offering to its passengers two Classes of service - Business and Economy.
*BSP - is a system designed to facilitate and simplify the selling, reporting and remitting procedures of IATA Accredited Passenger Sales Agents, as well as improve financial control and cash flow for BSP Airlines. The main feature of BSP system is using a single standard ticket (Standard Traffic Document), instead of individual tickets for each company.
