OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2012. For a few days a delegation from Knorr-Bremse AG will work at KAMAZ, a global manufacturer of braking systems for commercial vehicles.

The delegation which included the top managers of Knorr-Bremse AG is headed by Heinz Hermann Thiele, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The purpose of the foreign guests` visit is to carry on negotiations with the managers of OJSC KAMAZ on long-term cooperation.

The foreign partners of KAMAZ will visit several facilities of the auto giant in Naberezhnye Chelny. They will meet with Irek Gumerov, Deputy General Director of OJSC KAMAZ – Director of Development – in the scientific and technological center of KAMAZ. In addition, the guests will visit OOO Knorr-Bremse KAMA – the joint venture of OJSC KAMAZ and Knorr-Bremse AG. It is planned to hold a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Russian-German Joint Venture there.

After the official event the German partners will examine industrial areas of joint ventures FUSO-KAMAZ Trucks Rus and CNH-KAMAZ Industrial BV and visit the Automobile Plant where they will be shown the cab assembly conveyor and the main assembly line.

The managers of Knorr-Bremse AG negotiated with Sergey Kogogin, General Director of OJSC KAMAZ on further cooperation.
