OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2012. The Danylo Halytskyi International airport Lviv during UEFA Euro-2012 has served more than 600 international and internal flights. The majority of additional and chartered flights arrived from the countries-participants of the tournament: Germany, Denmark, Portugal, as well as from Poland, Czech Republic, Austria. Media Center Lviv-2012 informs. The number of passengers served in the period from 7 to 17 June 2012 year - near 40 thousand people.

During the championship an airfield of the airport has taken 8 passenger carriers, class "D" (Airbus 310, Boeing 767) with football fans on the board.

Thanks to the coordinated work between services of the airport, border and customs control services, passenger service has been hold in accordance with plane and without delays.

It should be noted that while serving flights during Euro 2012, the Danylo Halytskyi International airport Lviv has launched a number of new flights of foreign and Ukrainian carriers.
