Ukraine to Increase Number of Jobs in 2012
OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2012. During his working trip to Kherson vice Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko unplanned visit the Kherson city employment center. According to Sergiy Tigipko, the number of jobs in Ukraine will increase this year.
This will contribute to maintaining economic growth and adoption of a new law on employment, which will encourage employers to employ particularly vulnerable in the labor market categories of the population - young people without work experience, orphans, single parents, people with disabilities and parents with children under 6 years of age or children with disabilities.
"In general, labor market trends are positive. In 2009 year the unemployment rate was about 9%, and in accordance with the results of 2011 the number of unemployed fell to 7.8%. This year, if economic growth rate sustained at its current pace the number of jobs will also increase"- vice Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
