OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2012. In view of the recent talks in Russian media, FESCO and TransContainer jointly make the following statement.

FESCO and TransContainer have long-term experience of mutually beneficial cooperation in the best interests of both companies and its clients. In particular, TransContainer and FESCO Group companies (including FESCO Integrated Transport) signed a number of freight-forwarding agreements. According to these agreements, TransContainer provides rail transportation and terminal handling services for FESCO Integrated Transport. On the other hand, FESCO Integrated Transport provide bilateral and domestic sea container transportation services to TransContainer.

The existing agreements do not assume either merger of the companies’ assets and rolling stock or creation of any alliances.

The above mentioned agreements were signed in 2010 – 2011 and are extended on regular basis in accordance with standard practice of integrated transportation services provision. Both companies also have similar contracts with other market players.
