OREANDA-NEWS. Ural Automobile Plant of GAZ Group will participate for the first time in Eurosatory-2012, the biggest international exhibition of weapons, safety technologies and protective means, taking place on 11-15 June in Paris Nord Villepinte Parc d'Expositions exhibition center. A new armored Ural truck will be demonstrated at the exhibition, reported the press-centre of GAZ Group.  

Eurosatory 2012 is the biggest international forum of safety and advanced defense technologies. Every year over 1,300 companies from 54 countries and almost 55,000 visitors from 135 countries take part in the forum. The exhibition has been held every two years since 1967 under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of France. In 2012 Eurosatory exposition is divided into the following sections: "Weapons and ammunition", "Combat vehicles", "Combat control and information support systems".

Ural Automobile Plant of GAZ Group will show a trial sample of the future armored vehicle (6х6) with enhanced protection of passengers, cargo and main components from bullets and mines. The vehicle is designed for transportation of 12 passengers or 5 tons of cargo. The vehicle can transport special cargo and tow trailers in all types of terrain. The new Ural truck is capable to cross heights up to 4,650 meters and can operate at ambient temperatures from –50°С to +50°С. The vehicle is equipped with electronic control system that displays information on the condition of the vehicle components on the driver’s screen and can automatically connect to the external control systems.
