OREANDA-NEWS. June 13, 2012. MCC Group Workshop on Management Improvement of Engineering Projects was started in CRIBC. Over 40 participants attended the opening seminar, including MCC vice presidents Huang Dan and Wang Xiufeng, deputy chief engineer Zhang Zheying, CRIBC president Li Peixun and the members of the working committee of the improvement activities, reported the press-centre of MCC Group. 

Huang Dan made an important speech at the opening event, she emphasized on the significance of the activities, the purposes to meet and the overall arrangement of the workshop. She said that the event is a good opportunity for the entire group company to deliver real improvement on project management activities. Huang wanted the participants to identify clearly the key aspects and milestones that need addressing while carrying out the activities. She also cited the Universal Studio project undertaken by CRIBC in Singapore as a successful example.

Speaking at the opening event, vice president Wang Xiufeng stressed that with the full launch of the improvement activities across the entire group company, all the subsidiaries of MCC Group should make efforts in self-diagnosis and key project benchmarking so as to make the improvement come true.

At the meeting, reports were delivered on the CRIBC business transformation, management innovation and project management improvement activities planning. The Universal Studio project manager gave a vivid presentation on the overall execution of the project in Singapore. The attendees also had extensive exchanges on the project management improvement practices.
