OREANDA-NEWS. June 09, 2012. As part of the educational project “Training of Specialists – Participants in Investment Projects Implemented with the Assistances of Development Institutions” a training workshop “Vnesheconombank Group: Projects on the Development of the South Federal District” was held in Rostov-on- Don from June 5 to 6, 2012.

In the course of the workshop Vnesheconombank Group’s representatives spoke about mechanisms for the Bank’s cooperation with constituent entities of the South Federal District and informed the workshop’s participants on the principles and criteria of selecting investment projects at Vnesheconombank, terms and conditions of implementing projects with the use of public private partnership mechanisms as well as programs of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and application of leasing mechanisms.

In the attendance of the workshop were more than 100 representatives of the business community as well as heads of regional and municipal authorities of the South Federal District.

The workshop’s participants were particularly interested in presentations and discussions devoted to projects being successfully implemented or scheduled for implementation with Vnesheconombank’s participation. The Bank’s potential borrowers received practical recommendations from Vnesheconombank Group’s representatives on finalizing their projects.
