OREANDA-NEWS. June 09, 2012. A transaction was completed, whereunder OJSC ROSNO-MS acquired 100% of voting shares in CJSC IO Medical Insurance Corporation. The acquisition of CJSC MIC underscores the interest of ROSNO-MS in intensive development and strengthening of leading positions in the medical insurance market across Russia.

The emergence of a new shareholder will undoubtedly open new prospects for insurants. The expertise and competence of the two companies will enable better quality of services rendered to the Krasnoyarsk Kraj residents. All OMI policy-issuing offices of CJSC MIC will be retained, whereas all people insured by this Krasnoyarsk-based company will be deemed to be insured by OJSC ROSNO-MS.

As a result of the completed transaction, CJSC IO Medical Insurance Corporation entered Allianz Group in Russia, which also includes ROSNO-MS.
