(former Shenzhen Norinco Investment Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as North United Aluminium Company), invested by Norinco, UC Rusal and other shareholders, was held at InterContinental Shenzhen on April 26. CPC Committee member and CFO Luo Qianyi of CNGC, deputy mayor Chen Biao of Shenzhen, deputy CPC Committee Secretary and Vice President Li Yong of Norinco, global Vice President Vladislav Soloviev of UC Rusal, and representatives from Chalco and CPI attended the ceremony.

Shenzhen Norinco Investment Co., Ltd., the predecessor of North United Aluminium Company, was founded in 1988 and has evolved to be one of the most influential aluminium traders in China. On September 27, 2010, under the joint witness of President Hu Jintao and President Dmitry Medvedev, Norinco and UC Rusal signed a letter of investment that laid the foundation for further cooperation. After equity injection is completed, the two parties will base on the platform of North United Aluminium Company to carry out extensive cooperation in import and entrepot trade of aluminium, alumina and other fabricated products.
