OREANDA-NEWS. June 7, 2012. PT Pertamina (Persero) cooperates with Hiswana Migas and local government administrations to conduct 3-kg LPG market operation at three areas to meet public needs.

At Cimahi city, the market operation was conducted with Hiswana Migas and local government administration. It distributed 3-kg LPG at three locations, whereby each location was allocated 560 cylinders. The market operation at Cimaha took place at Cibeureum subdistrict, fuel station (SPBU) 3440521 Jl. Raya Barat 560 at Rancabelut, and city square. The cylinders were distributed at the official retail price (HET) of Rp 12,750 per cylinder.

Meanwhile, at Cimanggis in Depok City, the market operation was conducted with Hiswana Migas at agent location. Pertamina sent 560 3-kg LPG cylinders, sold at the price of Rp 12,750 per cylinder.

The market operation at Tangerang took place at 3 fuel stations with the total of 2,520 3-kg LPG cylinders sold per day. The market operation conducted at SPBU SPBU No 34.15.509 Jl. Raya Kutabumi, Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang, finished off 1,120 cylinders per day. From the market operation at SPBU 34.15.112 JL. KH. Hasyim Ashari No. 11 Cipondoh, Kota Tangerang, public bought up 1,400 cylinders per day, and from SPBU 34.15.502 Jl. Raya Pasar Kemis, Kutajaya, Kec. Ps. Kemis, Kabupaten Tangerang 400 cylinders per day.

Vice President Corporate Communication of Pertamina Mochamad Harun said that beside conducting market operation, Pertamina continues to restructure the distribution for 3-kg LPG to ensure that the subsidized fuel goes to the rightful members of the public.

"We are determined to limit the movement space for any swindler of 3-kg LPG, such as those who illegally transfer LPG between cylinders that pose harm to the public," he said.
