OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2012.   “AutoKrAZ”, jointly with its partner Tital, Ukrainian designer and manufacturer of fire-fighting and rescue vehicles and equipment, has taken part in the 5th edition of the Exhibition Integrated Safety and Security -2012 held from May 22 to 25 in All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow. The list of exhibitors included 454 companies from every corner of the world. “AutoKrAZ” has unveiled one of its last novelties, the KrAZ Н23.2 (АC 13-70) water tender designed to carry fire crew members, fire-fighting and rescue equipment.

Based on the KrAZ Н23.2 cab-over chassis, this new truck is powered with the YaMZ-6501.10 engine (Euro 3) rated at 362 hp coupled with the MFZ 430 single disc clutch and the 9JS200ТА transmission.

The vehicle features comfortable flat face structure-and-panel cab, newly designed rear equalizing beam suspension, unique front suspension, and integral steering gear.

A special compartment is located behind the two-seat cab to house four crew members, breathing apparatuses behind seat backs, portable radio system, first aid kits and personal protective gear.

The KrAZ Н23.2 (АC-13-70) truck is provided with various rescue equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic tools, power pump, petrol-powered saw, turbo blower and fire-fighting equipment arranged in special compartments closed with roll up doors.

The Ukrainian fire fighter made a splash at the exhibition, as conventional KrAZ trucks popular in Russian Federation are more familiar. The visitors wished on “AutoKrAZ” to keep on developing new lineup of the KrAZ trucks.
