OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2012.   “AutoKrAZ” has taken part in International Specialized Exhibition Ecology 2012 held May 23-24 as part of forum Ecology of Industrial Area in the Exhibition Centre Expodonbass, Donetsk.

 For the first time ever the KrAZ К16.2R (6х4) truck, 16-ton municipal container carrier provided with Renault cab and equipment by Velmash-Ukraina (Kharkov), has been displayed in Donetsk region.

 The KrAZ К16.2R garbage truck is designed to collect and carry household rubbish, large building and industrial waste in interchangeable containers.

 Based on KrAZ Н23.2 R three-axle chassis cab, the KrAZ К16.2R is powered by a new YaMZ-536 6-cylinder in-line engine (Euro-4) rated at 312 hp coupled with MFZ 430 single-disc clutch and the 9JS150TA 9-speed manual transmission.

 The comfortable Renault Kerax Day cab offers comfortable working environment, which results in lesser driver’s fatigability.

 The chassis-mounted МПР-2 multilift consists of 30m? interchangeable container, the КМУ 90-01 hydraulic crane with clam shell bucket. Versatility and high performance are major advantages of this new Kremenchug garbage truck. Waste is collected in containers located in various urban blocks, hydraulic crane allows for rapid loading and unloading of interchangeable containers.

 “AutoKrAZ”’s stand has been visited by numerous visitors, including A.Lukyanov, mayor of Donetsk, which expressed high opinion of the national novelty, its specifications and performance. Mayors and heads of municipal services of other towns of Donbass, such as Dmitrov, Dzerjinsk, Torez, Debaltsevo, also highly praised this garbage truck and wished to buy it for their municipal services.
