June 05, 2012.  Recently, more than 100 customer representatives from the domestic automobile and engineering machinery industrygather and participate in 2012 hot-rolled and heavy plate product customer forum and new product promotion conference held by Baosteel. On the promotion conference, a batch of Baosteel new products with green, environmental-friendly and high strength design and manufacturing philosophy such as wear resistant, thin-gauge hot rolled steel become the focus of attention of the customer representatives attending the conference. In addition to conventional forms such as thematic reports and group discussions, the customer forum organizers also try the form of customer interview which is different from previous years.In a friendly, relaxed and candid atmosphere, six new and old customer representatives from FAW Group, Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group, CIMC and Zoomlion walk onto the stage and have interactive interviews with Baosteel technology R & D and marketing personnel.The customer representatives introduce their respective industries and enterprises' development and vision and combined with the actual usage, speak highly of Baosteel hot-rolled and heavy plate product quality and service.

The customer representatives also say that Baosteel hot-rolled and heavy plate products have advantages in stability and service quality, but in some key parts, they can not completely replace imported products. If Baosteel products can improve in internal performance and dimensional accuracy, and further implement "early intervention" in R & D, that will be a great support to the downstream industry.
