OREANDA-NEWS. June 5, 2012. As SCM Director of Retail Business Development Mr Telenkov will oversee and control the development of SCM Group’s retail business (Ukrainskiy Retail, Parallel and Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding).

Commenting on the appointment , SCM CEO Oleg Popov said: “Firstly, SCM as the owner is going to pay more attention to its retail business. We want all senior managers of our assets to have access to the resources and expertise of the managing company. Therefore we decided to reinforce SCM’s team and introduce a new position of Director of Retail Business Development.”

As SCM’s Director of Retail Business Development Andrey Telenkov will represent SCM as a shareholder in the Supervisory Boards of Ukrainskiy Retail, Parallel-M LTD and Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding. He will be responsible for strategy, investment, finance and risks of the three companies.

“Joining SCM team is my big achievement and, at the same time, big responsibility. Together with the teams of Ukrainskiy Retail, Parallel and Ukrainian Pharmacy Holding we will work to ensure efficient growth and development,” said Andrey Telenkov.

Andrey Telenkov was born in 1982. He graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

He served as a consultant at the Russian office of international consultancy McKinsey & Company from 2005 to 2008. In 2008-2010 Andrey was the Director of Business Development of Leanvest Investment Group. From November 2010 to September 2011 he worked in Uralsib Financial Corporation as the Head of Department and was responsible for direct investments.
