While giving a diploma to the winner, Valeriy Zhuravlyov noted that any sophisticated system operates only due to the efforts of the worker who ensure the reliable functioning of all engineering infrastructures. “I am glad that my long and good job and participation in the professional skill contest have been recognized again,” said Marat Badrudinov, Foreman of the Central REG of the Orenburg Municipal Electric Grids. “I have certificates of merit, notes of thanks and gifts. My family is very proud of me.” Marat Badrudinov have been working in the power industry for three decades already. His superiors and colleagues say that due to his high professional skills and qualification Marat Rafailovich always completes all tasks accurately and precisely. The foreman always pursued advanced training and attended courses for power specialists in special training centers. In 1991, Marat Badrudinov finished in-service training courses in sovkhoz secondary technical school “Orenburgskiy” majoring in “Electrification of the agricultural sector”. He was appointed to the foreman position in several years. At the present time, the foreman manages a team of three workers. His team is in charge of repair and maintenance of power transmission lines located in the central district of the city. Young specialists of Orenburg electric grids know that Marat Rafailovich is a talented trainer who enjoys sharing his experience with newcomers. “I try to show them the difference between the present-day work of wireman and the way it used to be 10-15 years ago,” said the powerman. “To operate up-to-date electric grid equipment, the personnel shall have engineer-grade knowledge supported by practical experience.”
