OREANDA-NEWS. June 5, 2012. Sberbank of Russia made a new version of a free Sberbank Online application available through App Store (a store of Apple applications) for iPhone owners. Now these clients of the Bank have more features, including the search of the closest ATM, money transfers to Sberbank clients based on their card number and telephone number registered in the Mobile Bank system. In addition, the application now allows money to be transferred by individuals to another Russian bank, deposits to be opened, cards to be blocked when lost.

Sberbank Online is an iPhone mobile application available to all holders of international bank cards from Sberbank of Russia that have a bank service agreement in place. One only needs a user ID and password to start using it. They can be claimed from any of the 60,000 self-service terminals of Sberbank. The ID can also be received from Sberbank's contact center and the password through the Mobile Bank.

Currently, the full functionality of the mobile application is available for clients of the following territorial banks of Sberbank: Moscow, Middle Russia, Baikal, Northern, Volga-Vyatka, East-Siberian, North-Eastern, Siberian (only Altai Krai), North-Caucasian, Far-Eastern, Central Chernozem, Volga Region. This services is provided to clients of other territorial banks in a limited manner as only bank card transactions are supported. The full functionality of the service will be offered to them in the near future.
