OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2012. The government will continue its efforts to support businesses with a responsible social position and investing in environmentally friendly production technologies, President Viktor Yanukovych said at today’s ceremony of Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine Ltd. opening an innovative cogeneration plant.

"Nowadays, we urgently need to implement modern technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions use energy resources more efficiently," he said.

"Such projects are the best demonstration of international community’s confidence in the stability of the Ukrainian economy," the President said. He drew particular attention to the fact that the new cogeneration plant would significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. He also reminded that 20 years ago, The Coca-Cola Company had been of the first foreign investors to start working in Ukraine.
