Moldova, Czech Republic Sign Social Security Agreement
OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2012. An administrative accord on the enforcement of the Social Security Agreement between Moldova and the Czech Republic, was signed today in Chisinau by Moldovan Labour, Social Protection and Family Minister Valentina Buliga and Czech Ambassador to Moldova Jaromir Kvapil.
Valentina Buliga said at the signing ceremony that the document envisages the following social allowances: age-limit pensions, pensions for disability caused by ordinary diseases, pensions and social subsidies for people who suffered labour accidents or professional diseases, as well as descendants' pensions.
At the same time, the agreement provides for a mechanism of paying social allowances. It also envisages the relevant institutions dealing with these issues, as well as the documents that need to be submitted by the applicants. Moreover, the accord is meant to facilitate the communication between the relevant institutions and the intermediary bodies.
In consistency with the agreement s provisions, applicants can address the National Social Insurance House in Moldova and the Social Insurance Administration, in the Czech Republic.
