Gazprom Neft Opens Associated Gas Pipeline from Severo-Yangtinskoye
OREANDA-NEWS. June 1, 2012. Production company Muravlenkovskneft, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, has completed the construction of a pipeline running from the booster pump station (BPS) at the Severo-Yangtinskoye oil field to the company’s gas collection system, through which associated petroleum gas (APG) will be delivered to Muravlenkovsk Gas Processing Plant. The company hopes that this move will increase the efficiency of APG utilization. Commissioning the pipeline, which has a diameter of 219mm and a length of 24.5km, has increased the company’s load capacity by 25 million cubic metres of APG per year.
The pipeline from Severo-Yangtinskoye field was constructed as part of Gazprom Neft’s Noyabrsk integrated project to increase the efficiency of APG utilization. The project also incorporates the Vyngayakhinskoye, Ety-Purovskoye, Vyngapurovskoye, Novogodnee and Yarainerskoye oil fields.
In order to fulfil the program and increase the efficiency of APG utilization, Gazprom Neft is carrying out three major regional projects, located on the Yuzhno-Priobskoye and Vyngapurovskoye oil fields (Noyabrsk integrated project) and the Tomsk Oblast fields (Tomsk integrated project). The ongoing construction of compressor stations and an APG collection system on the Yuzhno-Priobskoye field, when completed, will enable the company to reach an APG utilization level of 95% at the site. The modernisation of the APG collection and transportation system on the Ety-Purovskoye field and the expansion of the gas processing facilities at the Vyngapurovskoye compressor station, which is being carried out by SIBUR, is linked to APG utilization under the Noyabrsk integrated project.
