OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2012. Humor FM has won the Radiomania 2012 National Prize.

In the ‘Comic Program’ category, the award went to Year of the Dragon, timed to one of the most fun and looked-forward-to holidays, the New Year. Each episode takes a funny look at real Russian New Year’s celebrations – traditional dishes, party games and songs, drinks, street festivities, New Year’s costumes and personalities…

A total of 226 creative works were submitted to the Radiomania 2012 competition by radio stations from all over the country. This year there were awards in 22 categories.

Radiomania 2012 winners were congratulated by Sergey Zheleznyak, Duma chairman for informational policy, Andrey Romanchenko, RTRS general director and president of the Russian Academy of Radio, Elena Zelinskaya, MediaSoyuz vice president, as well as other leaders of the largest media holdings, managers of Russia’s leading radio stations, famous radio presenters and journalists.

The awards gala ceremony for Radiomania 2012 winners took place May 17 at Expocentre at Krasnaya Presnya as part of the Days of Infocommunications and the Sviaz-Expocomm-2012 exhibition.
