OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2012. Ukraine and Tajikistan identify ways of deepening economic cooperation. This was discussed during a meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and Minister of Economy and Trade of Tajikistan Sharif Rahimzoda.

During the meeting parties spoke in favor of increase in volumes of trade and economic cooperation.

In recent years between the governments of Ukraine and Tajikistan have been signed several agreements on economic cooperation, including: the agreements "On basic principles and areas of economic cooperation", "On free trade," "On attraction and mutual protection of investments", "On cooperation in the field of energy, industry, transport and construction", Treaty "On the long-term economic cooperation for 2003-2013" and "Interstate long-term economic cooperation program for 2003-2013".
