OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2012. The annual, traditional meeting with cement consumers took place in “Lipetskcement”, JSConMay 17th. This event was attended by consumers of “Lipetskcement”, JSC productsfrom the five regions. In addition to the Lipetsk Region, Lipetskcement”, JSC was attended by residents of Voronezh and Tambov regions, as well as Penza and Astrakhan regions which are located far away. All of them are included in the scope of activity of the Lipetsk branch of “EUROCEMENT group” JSC, which is the third branch in the holding, after Moscow and St. Petersburg in terms of sales. More than fifty guests came to the plant in total.

Vladimir Yurievich Sokoltsov, Director General of “Lipetskcement”, JSC greeted the guests. He thanked everyone for their interest in meeting, and for the awareness of its importance for both sides. Noting that “EUROCEMENT group”, JSC carries out all the necessary measures aimed at improving the quality of its products. He also told about the results of industrial activity of the holding in general for 2011, and for the first quarter of 2012, in particular, Vladimir Yurievich Sokoltsov also spoke in details on the strategy of the Lipetsk cement plant in the long term perspective up to 2017.

Igor Vasilieivh Abbakumov, Chief engineer of the plant introduced the technology of dry cement production, and program aimed at modernization of equipment to consumers. These measures are carried out by the company in order to improve quality of its products. Eugeniya Vladimirovna Potina, Head of Technical Control and Laboratory told consumers about the determination of product quality and its certification, and also drew the attention of the guests to the basic parameters that must be considered when selecting cement.

Vladimir Ilyich Buneev, Director General of Lipetsk branch of “EUROCEMENT group”, JSC highlighted issues relating to cement markets in Russia and worldwide in his report, described the marketing activities of the holding branches, and disclosed in detail topics of concern for every consumer, such as supply of goods by railroad and by regular roads, pricing issues, and forms of payment.

The event continued with interesting tour around the plant. In the quarry visitors had an opportunity to see for themselves how raw materials for cement production are extracted, in the cement shipping and packaging department they got acquainted with the work of a modern production line manufactured by Italian company Ventomatic. This production line is used for the production of bagged cement in 50 kg bags, and from February of this year it produces cement in 25 kg bags. Employees of the department of technical control and laboratory help consumers verify the reliability and functioning of the system of quality control of produced products.

Impressed by what they seen, guests went to discuss questions which arise during this event in person with Vladimir Ilyich Buneev, Director General of Lipetsk branch of “EUROCEMENT group”, JSC.

This meeting with consumers has once again proven the importance of this kind of communication for both parties.

Holding of such meetings, on the one hand, facilitates the expansion of customer base for marketing branches of the holding, on the other hand, such meetings allows solving many issues, customer may have, during a personal communication much more efficiently.
