OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2012. President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan staying with a visit in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has opened a new cement plant there.

In connection with the reconstruction process the Autonomous Republic suffered a need for its own cement plant and it was built at 150.6 hectare area 2 km far from Nakhchivan – Sadarak way by LLC Nakhchivan Cement. The plant with 800 tons cement capacity per day will cover the Republic’s needs and provide possibility for cement export.
