OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2012. In accordance with the government regulation of the Russian Federation, the Metallurgical Complex of OJSC KAMAZ was awarded the quality prize of the Government of the Russian Federation for 2011.

The enterprise received the high government award for achieving significant results in terms of quality of products and services and implementing efficient methods of quality management. This prize is awarded annually on a competitive basis and is considered the highest award which Russian organizations focusing on quality – an important factor of competition on the market – can be awarded.

The year 2011 was exceptional for KAMAZ metallurgists. The Metallurgical Complex of OJSC KAMAZ is the only department of the auto giant which participated in three quality competitions at once: it was honored with awards of OJSC KAMAZ, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan (for the third time), and the Government of the Russian Federation. So, success was achieved not by chance.

So long as the contestants competed not only in product quality but also in management quality, all departments of the company were engaged in the competition. The fact of participation in such contests is considered by the public and independent experts as an indicator of successful development of a competing organization regardless of its form of property, activity and headcount of staff.

The Metallurgical Complex of OJSC KAMAZ considers its participation and victory in the prestigious competition not only as an effective tool to enhance the prestige and excellent recommendations for partners.
