OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2012. Press Office of Moscow Domodedovo Airport announces that the information published in "Vedomosti" newspaper of May 24, 2012 in the article under the title "Government and "Domodedovo" reached a compromise" is untrue: Domodedovo Airport and Rosaviatsia have no agreement that the airport "will spend 14 billion rubles on construction of the runway".

In accordance with the Agreement referred to in the article and Federal Target Program (FTP), Domodedovo airport shall ensure the purchase of land property for construction of a new runway as well as the construction of objects that will be privately owned and together with the airfield will complement and create an airport complex.

The airport is supposed to fund the following: passenger and cargo terminals, mini TPP, parking modernization, expansion and reconstruction of engineering systems (water, electricity, heating), etc. Federal Target Program (FTP) which provides for investment projects on airports development in the Russian Federation does not involve extra-budgetary resources for the construction of the runway.
