OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2012. The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO will conduct a strategic session on a long-term forecast of scientific and technological development of Russian Federation until 2030.

The goal of the expert strategic foresight session is the research of economic demand in the leading competencies of high-tech branches:

Medicine and healthcare

Biotechnology

Rational use of natural resources

As a result of the given session participants will make roadmaps of the leading trends in the industry and perspective technologies in the period from 2012 till 2030. They will determine requirements for knowledge, skills and habits of workers and options for the formation of their competences. Results of this session will allow representatives of the companies to clarify their business strategies (including strategies of scientific researches and staffing); representatives of educational institutions will be able to determine requirements for their future employees training.

The session is performed on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Russian Federation with support of the Agency of Strategic Initiations by the administration of Russian Federation, in the framework of initiation for creation of the National Qualification and Competency strategy. Results of the session will be used by the Ministry of Education and Sciences for correction of primary and secondary educational programmes.

Materials of the session work will also be included in the Human Resources potential development report that will be prepared by the Agency of strategic initiations and submitted to the President of Russian Federation.

Session will be moderated by Pavel Luksha, professor of practice, director of corporate educational programmes of the Moscow School of Management SKOKOVO, author of several Russian foresights and co-author of foresight methodology Rapid Foresight.

Among the participants of the session there will be directors and leading scientists of Russian technological companies, specialized universities and scientific institutions, as well as representatives of public authorities that regulate activities of these industries.
