OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2012. In April 2012 Zavolzhsky motorny zavod (is a branch of "SOLLERS") has made first production run of diesel engines of new design ZMZ-51432 (2,2l) with fuel supply system Common Rail and kept for January-April 2012 positive dynamic on production of engines of all modifications in comparison with fact of analogous period 2011 at the level of 21%.

 In April ZMZ produced and supplied under orders of "UAZ" for kitting of vehicles – "UAZ-Patriot", "UAZ-Hunter", "Cargo" 359 diesel engines of new design with system Common Rail – on 10 engines more than preliminary planned.

 Herewith for kitting of "UAZ- Hunter" and vehicles of wagon-type, and also under orders of dealer organizations for aftermarket sale 124 diesel engines of "old" design ZMZ-514 have been produced.

Totally for 4 months of 2012 ZMZ sold under orders of its customers- OEMs and dealer organizations 28 245 engines of different modifications. Growth rate of production program was achieved due to increase of orders from UAZ (main customer) and increased demand in aftermarket.

 So 21 608 engines have been supplied to UAZ for Jan-Apr 2012 - by 29.7% more than fact of 4 months of 2011 . Supplies volume for aftermarket increased level for analogous period of last year by 4.3% and amounts to 5 556 engines. 1 060 eight-cylinder engines have been supplied under PAZ orders that are by 11% less than fact of January-April of 2011. In frames of state order 20 engines have been supplied to GAZ.

 Simultaneously ZMZ performs great activity on improvement of output products quality on constant base. As a result for 4 months of 2012 comparing analogous period of last year the defectness revealed in own test benches has decreased by 24%, quantity of claims has decreased by 31%, herewith costs on guarantee repair of engines decreased by 16%, that lead to saving of about 1 Mio RUR.
