OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2012. UTair fixed-wing aircraft transported a total of 2,346,095 passengers in the period form January – April 2012, a YoY increase of 48.2%. Passenger turnover constituted 4,410,139.8 PKM, an increase of 56.4% over the same period in 2011 and surpassing the industry average for growth in this indicator, which stands at 21.3% according to the Transport Clearing House.

In total, UTair Group fixed wing aircraft logged 89,120 flight hours, 28.9% more than for the same period last year. UTair Group aircraft delivered 7,824.2 tons of cargo, 50.8% more than for the same period in 2011 and 1,409.9 tons of mail.

UTair Group helicopters logged a total of 39,706 flight hours, 29.7% more than for the same reporting period last year.

UTair is the most rapidly developing airline among the top-three Russian carriers.
