OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2012. A few days ago, Meishan Mining was awarded “Special project of mineral resource saving and comprehensive utilization-excellent mining enterprise” by the State Land and Natural Resources Department.

In recent years, Meishan Mining Company increase year after year the investment in mineral resource saving and comprehensive utilization. The mining recovery rate and recycle rate in higher than design standard, at the advanced level of similar domestic mining enterprises. The company has also proposed the development conception of digital mining management, and realized digitalization visualization and optimization of mining design and production plan formulation. Mining recovery rate increased from 72% in 2006 to more than 80% actually, and less consumption of 100,000 tons of geological reserve.

Meishan Mining Company has also successfully applied recycling technology of iron minerals in tailings, produced stably around 200,000 tons of iron tails per year and supplied to cement plant for iron correction agent. In this way, the tails warehouse reduces around 200,00 tons of discharge of tailings every year.
