OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2012. JSC “Aviastar-SP” completed interior assembly and installation to Sukhoi Superjet 100 (MSN 95017) that arrived on May 4 from Komsomolsk-on-Amur, as the cooperation agreement between SCAC and JSC “Aviastar-SP” reads.

Experts from Ulyanovsk were trained by SCAC for corresponding actions, and installed seats, overhead bins, galleys, wardrobes and lavatories. Besides, according to instructions, system check was carried out.

“It is an honor for us to be part of Sukhoi Superjet 100 production chain, - notes Victor Gerasimov, acting head of SSJ100 interior installation on JSC “Aviastar SP”- our employees obtained great experience while cooperating with SCAC and foreign partners”.

“These are time-consuming operations, and we performed them in time” – comments representative of SCAC in Ulyanovsk Stanislav Gretchenko. “According to Aeroflot representative opinion, the quality of the work performed is high. We can state that the start of this mutually beneficial project is successful. I would like to thank “Aviastar for good job done and hope for further effective cooperation.”

Same day SSJ100 was brought from final assembly shop to flight-test center. It will be painted by “Spektr-Avia” and handed over to the customer, Aeroflot.

Currently, JSC “Aviastar-SP” and SCAC are preparing for next SSJ100 acceptance that will take place in first half of June.
