The 90 tons top & bottom blowing stainless steel converter in No. 2 Steel Making Plant (South) has recently reached a lifetime of 506 heats, breaking the existing record of 500 heats. It is another breakthrough since the 501 heats in March. At the same time, the average lifetime of this 90 tons converter reached 445.1 heats, 151.1 heats more than last year. By mid of May, a cost profit of 2.65 million RMB yuan was reached.
