OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2012. Sberbank announces the closing of acquisition of Chorus Consulting CIS.

By expanding remote banking services available to legal entities through IT solutions of Chorus Consulting CIS, Sberbank will be able to create a package of services unique for the Russian banking market as soon as possible. Classical bank-client systems supplemented with the functionality of solutions of Chorus Consulting CIS will allow the Bank's clients to carry out the entire external workflow in one window. Clients will get an opportunity to exchange underlying documents with their contracting parties electronically while keeping the legal effect of these documents.

Another business area resulting from this integration will include operations whereby Sberbank's clients will be allowed by send electronic statements to the Federal Tax Service and other governmental agencies.

Acquisition of Chorus Consulting CIS is a starting point in Sberbank's entry of the newly-born market of inter-corporate electronic workflows.
