OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2012. AIKB Tatfondbank entered the Top-20 list of best retail banks of Russia based on the results of the year 2011. The ranking was prepared by RBC.Rating agency.

The list includes 65 credit institutions, capable, according to RBC.Rating, of offering their customers a broad range of diverse banking services and ready to disclose information on their performance.

The agency informs that at 1 January 2012 Tatfondbank had 389 500 plastic cards in circulation, 294 own ATMs, provided RUR 569.3 million worth of car loans, RUR 1.76 billion worth of mortgage loans and RUR 4.37 billion worth of unsecured loans.

The ranking of the best retail banks, issued twice a year, is made on the basis of answers to questionnaires provided to RBC.Rating by any credit institutions wishing to participate. The questionnaires embrace such issues as car loans, mortgage loans, unsecured loans, plastic cards, and ATMs. The obligatory condition for inclusion on the list is the provision by a bank of information for all sections of the questionnaire.

The agency notes that the resulting list of 65 banks is not merely a regular ranking that places its participants in the descending order depending on their particular indicators, but a list of the most active credit institutions, whose business is targeted at retail customers by means of offering them the fullest range of banking services.
