OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2012. Within the Pulkovo Airport modernization Northern Capital Gateway LLC installed 100 and 70 new information displays at Pulkovo 1 and Pulkovo 2 respectively. Outdated displays do not fit the times, and in a view of terminals’ reconstruction were replaced with the up-to-date LCD. For passengers convenience new displays are located in all zones including cafes, bars and restaurants. Ttechnical capabilities of the new displays make it possible to transmit supplementary information.

“Northern Capital Gateway LLC, the operator of Pulkovo Airport completed the installation of AODB system displays. Perhaps, it will take some time for passengers to get accustomed to relocation of information displays. However, I am sure they will appreciate the new system convenience and information content. It stands to mention there are international airports in the world both with unified display and without it. We consider the necessity of large information display installation in the new passenger terminal” said Dirk Rebhan Head of IT Department.
